Change of Bell Time 2021
Dear Parents
I'm currently putting together a proposal to bring the start of our school day forward to 9am in 2021 instead of the current 9.10am.
The reason is to allow more time in our 'Literacy Block' to allow teachers to spend more time teaching reading and writing skills.
While ten minutes may not seem like a long time each day. Over the course of a year it will equate to approximately 2000 minutes of extra literacy time in the classroom.
We have checked with the buses and all students are dropped to school before 9am.
We will be making a final decision at the start of Week 8. If you have any concerns about the proposed change can you please email me on b.toole2@bth.catholic.edu.au or give me a call to discuss your concerns.
Yours sincerely
Brad Toole
