- Alex Toole will be running Little Blessings.
- Amanda Watts will be joining our Casual Learning Support team

R.E Matters - Walking in the light of Christ
‘Let your Light Shine’ – Never see a need without doing something about it.
ADVENT
On Monday we began our Advent season with a School Liturgy. We introduced the Advent Wreath, praying and lighting the first candle.
Advent is the period of four Sundays and weeks before Christmas.
Advent means 'Coming' in Latin. This is the coming of Jesus into the world. Christians use the four Sundays and weeks of Advent to prepare and remember the real meaning of Christmas.
Intensive Swimming
Our Swimsafe – Intensive Swimming Program has begun this week - (Monday 2nd December - Thursday 12th December).
.The children are doing really well being organised for swimming and participating in the variety of activities the teachers have organized at school.
Each day the children will need:
(1) swimmers,
(2) towel,
(3) sunscreen,
(4) school hat and
(5) a bag to carry it all in.
Students may choose to wear thongs to and from the pool but will need their school shoes for the rest of the day.
If your child is in the ‘Clownfish’ they will need to come to school dressed for swimming. Children in Clownfish are: Alice T, Ryan P, Aalayah N, Blair N, Eevee R, Winter K, Indy-Rose C, John V, Bonnie-Blue O, Maggie W, Sophie J, Tom L, Avelyn M, Jane T, Airlie K, Sophia W, Hope S, Lola P, Sarah W, William B, Henry B, Pearl O
Please ensure your child has a healthy lunch and a water bottle each day for these weeks as swimming makes us hungry!
Thankyou to our parents, for your help in organising Intensive Swimming this year.
School Captain Voting
This Friday 6th December at 2pm in our hall our Year 5 students will present their ‘School Captain Speeches’ for next year. After the students present their speeches, students from Kinder to Year 5 will vote for our School Captains for 2025.
Students will be voting for two school captains. The girl and the boy with the highest number of votes will be announced school captains. We look forward to announcing the School Captains at our ‘Presentation Night’ on Monday 9th December. Parents are welcomed to come and attend.
Year 6 Farewell Dinner
Year 6 Farewell Dinner will be held on Thursday 5th December 6.30pm in our school hall. If there are any parents that are able to help decorate the hall that would be very much appreciated. It is a great night for our Year 6 students and their parents to attend.
End of Year Mass and Year 6 Assembly
Year 6 End of Year Mass will be held on Monday 16th December at a time tbc.
All students will attend the Mass and all parents in our community and particularly our Year 6 parents are invited to attend our celebration. Year 6 Final Assembly will be held at 2.30pm on the same afternoon in the school hall.

Semester 2 Reports will be sent home on Tuesday 17th December. Please do not hesitate to contact your child’s teacher if you have any questions or concerns about your child’s learning.
Gulgong Christmas Event Choir
We have been invited and accepted an invitation to sing two songs at the Gulgong Christmas Celebrations at the Park on Saturday 14th December. Mrs MacLean will be coordinating the choir and it is open to all students who would like to participate.
Wear a Christmas T-shirt or Christmas coloured t-shirt and meet Mrs MacLean on the night to sing Silent Night and Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer.
It will be a great night with lots of fun activities planned.

We will be providing some groovy little sunglasses this year to protect the kids eyes.
